Inspired by the cuisine of Sicily, slowly caramelized fennel and red onions are combined with chopped kalamata olives and the bold favor of blood oranges. Serve alongside fish and shellfsh, chicken and pork. Spread on crackers or as a bruschetta topping. Use as a sandwich spread. Add to a lemon and oil dressing. Stir into plain rice or couscous. Eat straight out of the jar!

These tapenades, spreads and pestos will do exactly that. I met Nancy Wekselbaum, owner of TGG, at the Summer Fancy Food Show in 2013. I had just opened the business and was on the hunt for some amazing products. They had the equivalent of a speed dating session, where makers pitched their products. Nancy was the last one of the day for me and we chatted long past the end of the event. She has played a key role in helping me pave my path for this business and her products have been instrumental to the early success of Riley/Land.
