A combination of sweet paprika, onion, garlic and fennel, the Streamside Angler will enhance any kind of fish however you want to cook it. Whether grilling mahi-mahi or frying catfish or pan searing salmon, you'll be glad you pulled this one out of the cabinet. But, it's not just for fish. Cynthia's family uses it in their macaroni and cheese, it can be your secret ingredient in your tunafish salad, throw some on your popcorn and enjoy a movie or add some to sour cream (or Greek yogurt) and make a veggie dip.
This family-owned business has been around since the 1960s, creating locally made, globally sourced spices and seasoning blends that celebrate the flavors of the world. In 2013, McKinley Thomason decided to create an offshoot brand that honored his father's memory and help the farmers who grow the herbs and spices they use, concurrently. He named the business J.M. Thomason (his father's name) and partnered with Heifer International to help Guatamalan farmers navigate the tricky world of business. For every can sold, they donate a small percentage to the non-profit. Thomason also, however, works behind the scenes to help these farmers push grant proposals, plant more trees, etc.
