Nothing fancy here: strawberries, picked on Tuesday, turned into jam on Wednesday, and in my warehouse by Friday. I get them every year. Lisbeth, the wife of my rolling pin guy, grows the berries and makes the jam. All organic. As farm-to-table as it gets. I don't add expenses by ordering labels, etc. It's my Farmer's Market series. There will probably be more items coming during the summer. In the meantime, get them while you can. I always sell out quickly.
INGREDIENTS: Strawberries, Pectin, Sugar.
The hubs can be picky with his jams and jellies. When I gifted him this, the only time he was disappointed was when he finished the jar. I reordered (two jars this time!) but only told him about the one. Again, consumed with joy, disappointment at the empty jar. Now that we’re on the last jar, I don’t know that he’ll ever go back to store bought and be as satisfied. Delicious, flavorful, and a thin layer suffices so the jar lasts as long as possible.
Quite easily the best strawberry jam my family and I have ever tasted!
