For the past several years, I have given stockings as gifts for my family as theirs grew (my brothers, cousins). Last year I gave my parents new stockings, as it was time... and they desevred pretty ones. They make for a great gift - and something that makes them think of you year after year. Personalization is available, but there's someone in nearly every town who has one of those machines and can do it for you as well, if you'd prefer to hsve it done locally.
