Fall and holiday scents account for more than 50% of annual candle sales for small businesses. And the September - November corridor is my personal favorite time of year. That being said, I don’t like typical fall/holiday scents.
Notes like vanilla, cinnamon, pumpkin, lots of baked goods, etc are the popular scents. I just can’t do it. I’m sorry. I know they would sell. But I have to like them too.
But, for the October candle, we have my take on fall scents, with black currant and plum, blended with clove and juniper. We have included pink peppercorn and pear, along with citrus, pine, musk and cedar to create something that smells very fall-ish without smelling very fall-ish. And I’m so in love with it.

Boilerplate: every month I create a new proprietary scent and we make a limited number of units. They’re all made with vegan soy, hand-poured, using double wicks. They burn beautifully for about 60 hours.
