The April candle - our 48th scent, Falling - smells absolutely amazing. It should; we used 8 billion scents in it. That’s hyperbole, but the list does include: bergamot, leather, allspice, peppercorn, clove, amber, lemon peel, vetiver, sandalwood, tobacco leaves, dark musk, hemp, cedar, and teakwood. The photo is of Salto Àngel in Venezuela, the world’s tallest uninterrupted waterfall.
As my work reflects my life, my neighborhood has welcomed thousands of Venezuelan asylum seekers and I some of them have become like family to me. I made this candle to honor them.
Our candles are all hand-poured using vegan soy wax, with double lead-free wicks. The burn life is approximately 65 hours. Subscribers get theirs first and there are always a handful left over.
