Rice the second largest staple crop across the world, with 500 million tons cultivated annually, and less than 2 percent is produced in the USA. The overwhelming majority is grown in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, or Texas. That's why I specify that this rice is grown in Tennessee. Dyersburg, to be exact; a small town approximately 70 miles north of Memphis, with their farm along the banks of the Mississippi River. It's a family-owned farm that has been in operation for more than forty-plus years.
Jasmine rice is a fragrant, long-grain rice from Southeast Asia, especially Thailand, known for its distinctive sweet, floral aroma (like pandan or popcorn) and slightly sticky, soft, fluffy texture when cooked. It's a staple in Asian cuisine, offering a buttery flavor that complements spicy dishes, curries, and stir-fries.
