The Sewanee Project is rooted in intention. The goal - to responsibly source trees from the campus of Sewanee: The University of the South and turn them into future family heirlooms. The Domain, as the university community calls it, encompasses 13,000 acres atop the Cumberland Plateau and has consistently been ranked as the most beautiful college campus in the United States. And, coincidentally enough, it's my alma mater. We honor nature in turning fallen trees into functional art. A portion of the proceeds from each sale supports reforestation efforts across Appalachia, through One Tree Planted.
