Where are your products made?

Our pieces are made in small batches, primarily in the United States, using responsibly sourced materials.

Are your items handmade?

Yes. Each piece is made individually. Natural variation in wood, finish, and form is part of the work.

Will the item I receive look exactly like the photo?

No two pieces are identical. Product photos represent the style and scale, not an exact replica.

Do you restock sold-out items?

Some items are restocked; others are made in limited runs. Availability depends on materials and production schedules.

Shipping + Timing

How long does it take for orders to ship?

Most in-stock items ship within a few business days. Made-to-order or limited pieces may require additional time.

Do you ship internationally?

International shipping availability varies. Shipping options are shown at checkout when available.

Can I combine or modify orders after placing them?

Once an order is placed, changes may not be possible. Please contact us as soon as possible with questions.

 

Returns + Exchanges

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted on unused items within a limited time frame. Custom and made-to-order items are final sale.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please contact us promptly with photos so we can assist.

Care + Use

How do I care for wooden pieces?

Hand wash only. Dry thoroughly and condition with food-safe oil as needed.

Are your wooden items food-safe?

Yes. All finishes are food-safe and appropriate for everyday use.

Can your boards be used as cutting boards?

Yes! They are designed to be used. And, for the folks afraid of germs and bacteria: it is a proven fact that the porous structure of hardwoods draws bacteria into its fiber, where the lack of moisture and nutrients causes them to die. Within minutes. So stop worrying and use the boards!

Candles

What are your candles made from?

Our candles are made with clean-burning vegan soy wax, double or triple lead-free cotton wicks, and carefully developed fragrance blends.

How long do your candles burn?

Burn time varies by size and use. The two-wick candles typically burn for roughly 65 hours and the three-wick candles can burn for around 90 hours. Always follow candle care instructions for best performance.

Are your candles safe for sensitive environments?

We recommend reviewing ingredient details and using discretion in shared or sensitive spaces.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. We work with retailers worldwide through our wholesale program.

How can I become a stockist?

Wholesale inquiries can be submitted through our wholesale portal.

Brand + Ethics

Do you work with sustainable materials?

We prioritize responsibly sourced materials and long-term use over disposability. Additionally, we try to be as zero-waste as possible, converting offcuts into functional pieces and utilizing our sawdust for both compost and animal bedding. There is very, very little waste coming out of our woodsheds.

Do you give back?

Yes, we plant trees in both Appalachia and California. We also participate in a scholarship program at Sewanee: University of the South
