I love a good rain. The kind that cools the earth on a hot summer day… they kind of just pop up, do what they do, and dissipate. When I was a kid, living on my parents’ farm, I looked forward to them and always wanted to play outside as the water fell. And then, when I lived in Trinidad and it was basically summer all the time, those sporadic showers always were welcome to me. And I played in the rain. And last month when I went to visit my parents and it started raining while I was at the pool, I played in the rain.
I wanted to capture the excitement and I think we did with this candle. We lean heavily into the green - moss, green leaves, ozone, but balance with bergamot, rose and lavender. With a little juniper because why not? Experience the summer rain with me.
Boilerplate: every month I create a new proprietary scent and we make a limited number of units. They’re all made with vegan soy, hand-poured, using double wicks. They burn beautifully for about 60 hours.
