Demerara Gum Syrup

More than just a raw sugar syrup, Demerara Gum Syrup delivers incredible depth of flavor. Demerara cane sugar is unrefined, and you’ll find that its distinct molasses note perfectly complements rum and barrel-aged spirits of all kinds.

This is a 2:1 cane sugar:water syrup combined with gum arabic, an all-natural emulsifier derived from African acacia trees. Why not just us simple syrup? The addition of gum arabic lends the syrup a silky and more luxuriant mouthfeel when compared to the viscosity of a common simple syrup.
