Miss Bobbie Rolling Pin
Miss Bobbie Rolling Pin
Hand-crafted out of Tennessee hardwoods, this beauty gives classic rolling pin, but with a few flourishes. Those long, flared handles not only provides a different aesthetic, but also works well for anyone with larger hands - or have trouble gripping the others. Any baker - professional, casual or beginner - would love to have it.
Named after my grandma, Bobbie Harrison, whose hands got to be too arthritis-ridden to continue making her famous fried pies.
The Riley/Land Collection is known for our wooden kitchenware. From our award-winning biscuit cutters to our extensive line of rolling pins to our extremely popular bowl line, people know that our products are exquisitely crafted, made with care, and will last a lifetime. The roots of these pieces share history with the roots of my family - on our farm in rural Tennessee. The vast majority of the wood comes from one of our parcels of land. We believe in being as zero waste as possible, so we have developed ways to utilize nearly every cut of wood, even down to ensuring that the shavings find a new home in Raku firing or gardening mulch/compost.
The pieces we craft are made to last a lifetime, durable enough to use rather than to just sit on a shelf looking pretty. The grain, tone, and character of the wood are part of the design. Each piece is - quite naturally - one-of-a-kind.
Handmade in Tennessee.
