Life of Riley: RLC No. 05 | Nashville-Bound Candle

I started selling candles on a whim. An associate of mine had decided to sell out of his small distribution business in Nashville, to get a full time job with better healthcare because his 4-year-old daughter had cancer. So, I went over to his warehouse to pick up some stuff and happened across a case of candles. I went ahead and took those too, thinking they would make great gifts for Mama and Angela. I left them in my car overnight and when I got in the next morning, I was blown away with the smell. It was amazing. So, I decided I would try to sell some at my next pop up event. They sold. That simple.

Next thing you know, I'm in meetings to create my own scents. Then, all of a sudden I was in the lab with Debbie, combining oils to figure out what best fit the direction I was going. Incrementally, the candles have creeped in and become a major part of the Riley/Land Collection. The newest in the Life of Riley assortment harkens back to that first candle. It's a remix, if you will, of Due South, my original best-seller, with elements of amber, oak moss, sage and orange.
