RLC No. 77 | Tomato :: Tomahto

After May's hayfield-inspired candle, I immediately thought about other summer scents - and my brain quickly went to the garden. And one of the most amazing aroma that comes from the garden is that from tomato vines. Yes, it's a green scent again. But, it's a whole different vibe. 

There is a crispness to this scent - a bit of green leaves, but also a minerality that embraces rich soil. You can almost smell basil as well. It's a beautiful scent that belongs in your kitchen. I remember when I worked with WS, we introduced a soap and lotion set that smelled like tomato vines and it was one of my all-time favorites. So, here we are; an endless summer.
